All user-configured preferences (such as your nickname and active room code) are stored locally on your device using the browser's secure chrome.storage.local API. This data is kept strictly on your local machine and can be completely wiped at any time by clicking the "Odadan Ayrıl" (Leave Room) button or uninstalling the extension. Our signaling servers do not permanently log, track, or store your viewing history, personal information, or chat transcripts.
We do not, under any circumstances, sell, trade, rent, or lease your data to third-party advertising networks, analytics companies, or any external entities. All data processing is strictly functional and anonymous.
Our extension requests access to all URLs solely to detect the presence of HTML5 <video> tags dynamically across changing domains. This permission is used exclusively to inject the synchronization script when a video is being played, allowing for universal co-viewing. No browsing history or website content is ever recorded or transmitted.
